APPOINTMENT

​​ ALL APPOINTMENTS:  BENGAL VISIT,  TAKE HOME,  & DELIVERY, MUST BE SCHEDULED VIA EMAIL for a SPECIFIC TIME & Specific Cats/Kittens, (i.e. 8 pgs of paperwork to prepare for each) 3-5 DAYS In Advance & Reconfirmed via Email 1 Day Prior.  Then, via TEXT MSG 10-15 Mins Prior to Appt Time - No Earlier [or it interrupts the Appt. prior to yours] for directions to our home (day of appt. only).  [FOR MORE INFO RE. ​The most common Incorrect Assumption people in general make re. reputable Breeders is, that we operate like a store & are available on short notice, when if fact, we Actually Have to Work  More Hours  at our regular jobs to help Support Such an Expensive Hobby; kitten money alone rarely covers more than half of the associated costs  [see bottom of Home page for info]  of cattery expenses.

We Schedule  1 VISIT / TAKE HOME APPT.  PER APPLICATION -$50 each & Applied to the Deposit  (we lose pay taking time off from our regular jobs, but, more than that, it delays timely placement overall [& stresses out our Bengals with various strangers coming/going].    
We must give a 3 Day Advance Notice to Request Time Off -we do not make our living producing kittens (we actually have to work more, to support such an expensive hobby) - we work long shifts of  opposite schedules, in order to be available 24/7

for our Bengals. We Can Not Respond to Cell Phone Text Messages - unless it's within 15 mins of  Your  Scheduled  Appt. Time.

Once a Deposit/Down Payment has been placed, Kitten/Cat Must be Picked up within 30 Days ​of that date or ESN,

whichever is later - unless Boarding Arrangements (@ $1 per day) have been Made, or Bengal will be considered abandoned.  

After ESN/Early Spay Neuter  [an arrangement between reputable Breeders & a Specific  Veterinarian only],& Entire Litter has been Placed,  ALL related Paperwork i- especially registrations Processed strictly In The Order of D.O.B. - much more time

effective & keeps it all organized  (unfortunately, I do not have anyone else to do this while I am working long hours).   ​

​Our PET Bengals are placed [Face-to-Face] in Pre-Approved Homes in ND, SD, MT, & MN. If you can not come for an in-home visit [available dates above], we may be able to drive part way - not always possible during busy kitten season.​ 

DELIVERY CHARGE / ENROUTE VISIT @ .50 Cents Per Mile; i.e. Meet IN Bismarck or Devils Lake = $60  We are often able to meet Part Way - ONLY IF WE  ARE NOT HAND FEEDING BABIES EVERY 2 HRS - i.e. for BISMARCK, it would be "Totten Trail" (N. Side of Audubon).

F.Y.I. ​​With Bengals being The Most Popular Domestic Pet in the World - Even More Than Dogs, it's understandable that a LOT of people are curious & anxious to get a look at this amazing breed of cat; unfortunately, Times Have Really changed, & that can present a few challenges for us - including theft!  Imagine for a moment, that you are (i.e.) in the Diamond business;  would you take ALL of your top quality diamonds & put them out on display for every single stranger who walks through the door?  We have paid at least Twice as Much as the average engagement ring costs, for EACH of our Show Quality Bengals. We are Protective of them for several reasons, & concerned about their safety as well as our own.  In just the last 2 yrs alone, we have had 5 attempts at theft  [that we know of], 2 potential assaults, & 1 scammer pretending to be us.

Buying/Selling Bengals is VERY DIFFERENT from Other Cats/Dogs..!  We Do Not Sell~ Bengals, They Sell themselves - There is Such a High Demand for them, that After Reviewing Applications  [WHICH MUST BE RECEIVED PRIOR TO SCHEDULING AN APPT.],We Make the Final Decision re. placement. We Never Sell To The 1st Person With Cash In Hand or Impulse Buyers & after careful consideration, We Place Them in Approved, Forever Pet Homes!  Kittens are Offered in the Order of Applications received - Bengal Breeders (Show Homes) Always Come 1st, then, offered as Pets.

OUR PLACEMENT PROCESS:   In general,we are strict, discerning & diligent in our process withPlacement of Young Adult Cats & Older Kittens being the necessary priority Over Young Kittens!!!  

(1)We Review all Applications - please make sure you have submitted one!   (2)We MayConduct an Interview by Telephone, or need to clarify answers on your application via email   (3)Pending the Weather Forecast[Must be 35-75 degrees during appt time, for the Health of Our Bengals],BUYER May Schedule an Appt. for Up to 2 Adults & 1 [minor] Child  via EMAIL,  3-5+ Days in Advance on a SUN-THU  [SUN = Mornings Only; MON-THU = Late Morning/Early Afternoon Only] to Meet/Visit the SPECIFICAvailable Bengal/s of your choice - Kittens "On Hold" Are Not Available For Visits with Anyone Other Than Whom Placed The Deposit.  NO APPT WILL BE SCHEDULED UNTIL Bengal Preferences are SPECIFIED - Which 3 Kittens OR 2 Cats.   (4)Determine Release Date by When the Kitten/Cat is Ready - not the other way around!   (5)Place Kittens in Approved Homes!  PET Kittens are released beginning at 17 weeks - After  Early SPAY or NEUTER aka "ESN" [Buyer is Responsible for cost] Scheduled By Us AS EARLY AS 16 Weeks - You May Want To Schedule Your Visit Appt After That Time, so, Kitten/Cat Can be Taken Home the Same Day.   Although the cost of Spay or Neuter is the Buyers Responsibility, We pay our Vet more than what we ask; Buyer Must Pre-Pay Cost for Kittens, but, May Reimburse seller prior to release of ADULT Cats. 

F.Y.I. Prior to ANY Surgery, there Must be  > NO KETAMINE GAS for Bengals!! < 

Federal Regulations Do Not Allow Reputable Breeders to Release Kittens Prior to 10 weeks Old & they also require a minimum of 1 set of shots, however, the CFA & TICA Code of Ethics are adamant that kittens are not to be released until a min. of 12 weeks old, & have 2 sets of shots; we release AFTER 16 wks ESN & generally give 2-3 Sets.

Cooked, Shredded Chicken Breast

Limit the amount of canned food & NEVER, Ever Give: Cows Milk, Corn Gluten Meal, Canned Tuna, Alcohol, Grapes, Garlic,Raisins, Chocolate, Avocados, Yeast Dough, Onions, or Black Pepper!!

We FREE FEED, with the 2 meals being No More Than 8 Hours Apart  (give slightly more than they consume each meal - making sure there is always a bit of food in the dish) - It's Very Rare That Bengals Overeat & generally eat just what they need to Support Their High energy & Solid Muscle Mass.  Familiarize Yourself With the Ingredient Label/s  &  DO NOT: FEED CORN GLUTEN MEAL or CHANGE A BENGAL'S FOOD!!!!

IMPORTANT:  With a Short Digestive Tract & Ultra-Sensitive System,  Bengals MUST be Kept on the SAME Exact Food & Formula, or you will give them severe [almost unstoppable] diarrhea!!

NOTE:  POOR QUALITY FOODS may appear to be a bargain, but do not provide an adequate amount of the ingredients that a Bengal needs (greater muscle mass & high energy) in order to maintain good nutritional health and are vital to their growth.  Poor quality foods also produce a lot more waste in the litter box, as the kitten actually needs to eat much more of the low quality food to obtain the same amount of nutrients.

NOTE:  DO NOT Bring a WIRE KENNEL [no protection] - especially in a car - it could collapse when brakes are applied, OR a "PET CHAMPION" (WalMart) Plastic Carrier, as that Type is Not Strong Enough to Hold a Bengal!!! 

FEB-APR/MAY,  I work diligently on REGISTRATIONS from the Year Prior - It Takes Me Approx. 1 Mo. per Quarter. 

REGISTRATION FOR YOUR CURRENT BENGAL:    Buyer is Responsible for Cost of Spay/Neuter - to be received PRIOR to Release of Registration.  Spay/Neuter Must be Pre-Paid for ALL KITTENS [Under age 1 year] & Reimbursed Within 60 Days for Adult CATS (Over 1 year).  As stated above, ALL Registration paperwork for the Year Prior is processed from FEB - APR/MAY the following calendar year.  If you have Already Paid for Spay/Neuter & have Not Yet Received Registration by 1 Year From DATE OF PURCHASE, Please: Make Sure That You Send us an email, as I Register Each Litter AS A WHOLE -  After  The ENTIRE LITTER HAS BEEN PLACED - IN FEB-APR/MAY THE FOLLOWING CALENDAR YEAR,  It Takes Me [alone] Approx. 1 Mo. to Create Registration Applications (aka "Blue Slips") Per Quarter Year.  Then, Applications are Sent to Those Owners Who Have Reimbursed Us for Cost of Spay/Neuter; the remaining Applications are filed away while awaiting Reimbursement.

Pet & Breeder/Show Bengals Available within the USA to Citizens Only - no crossing International borders with Bengals!! Without Very Specific paperwork, DOMESTIC Bengals are confiscated & euthanized when re-entering the USA with them, due to coming down from wild heritage.

Therefore, we are Diligent (Application Required) & Quite SELECTIVE in Their Placement!!
